EDIE CAMPBELL

Edie was born in Holland of Dutch and Canadian parents. After three years living in Holland and Canada, she moved to London with her family. She went to the Oxford Poly (aka Oxford Brookes University) and Guildford School of Acting. In 1988 she moved to Iowa City, Iowa, USA, where she lived for the next nine years, acting, getting an MA in English Literature from the University of Iowa, and temping. In 1997 she moved back to the UK with Jack Lynch where they set up LynchPin Productions in 1999. Edie is also involved in medical role-play for Southampton University and the NHS, teaching communication skills to medical students.

Favourite roles in the USA have included:  Elsa, Road to Mecca; Célimène, The Misanthrope; Rosie, Dancing at Lughnasa; Henry V / Prince Hal, The Wooden O; Bess, Abundance; Me, HIM (e.e. cummings) and Emily Stilson, Wings.
