Audience responses:
NOT ONLY A HISTORY LESSON BUT A PERFORMANCE AS WELL - WHAT COULD BE MORE ENJOYABLE THAN LEARNING ABOUT AN HISTORICAL FIGURE THAN THROUGH HIS WRITING, MUSING AND LIFE EXPERIENCE. A THOROUGHLY ABSORBING EVENING BRILLIANTLY COMMUNICATED BY JACK LYNCH AND ANDREW HODSON. GERRY TEBBUTT
"Two assured performances by Jack Lynch and Andrew Hodson, an extraordinary insight into a man of heart, humour, wisdom and courage, from whom we have much to learn in today's world. An enjoyable and thought-provoking evening". Susan Mashkes
We so enjoyed the ScripTease presentation on Monday - full of historical detail and a really superb and sympathetic depiction of Abraham Lincoln. Well done. John and Bridget Salter
This is another ScripTease event from LynchPin Productions Theatre Company where we expose little-performed and/or new playscripts through rehearsed, performed readings. It is our hope to expand the concept of Readers Theatre, ‘teasing’ out scripts and exposing audiences to plays they might not otherwise have the chance to experience. With this we also create a public forum for playwrights to have the opportunity to test new work with actors in front of a live audience.
